Details2013: Timmer played in 35 of the 36 total matches in her senior year, contributing once again to another GSC championship… Tied for first in GSC for blocks in a three set match (8) against Lee University on Oct. 26… Second on team for assists with 377, averaging 3.37 assists per set… Finished season with 65 kills and 82 total blocks.
2012: Continued to be a solid component of the UWF defense... Played in 70 sets and appeared in all but five matches... Averaged .50 blocks per set, ranking fourth for the team... Collected 35 blocks total... Averaged 0.37 kills per set hitting .146 percent.
2011: Appeared in 65 sets on the year as a sophomore… Ranked eighth on the team in total kills (31) … Ranked seventh on the team in hitting percentage (.158) … Tallied 40 blocks on the year and ranked third on the squad in blocks per set (0.62).
2010 Gulf South Conference All-Tournament Team -
Details2010: Played a big defensive role for UWF in her first season on the active roster... Led the team in blocks per game, at 0.86, and finished second in total blocks, with 95... Posted a career-high eight kills against Loyola (10/5)... Had a huge day on November 13, tallying nine blocks in both the GSC Semifinal match against Harding and the GSC Championship match against North Alabama... Both performances tied for the sixth-best outputs in UWF history.
2009: Redshirted the season.
High School: Lettered in four sports, including three years in volleyball, two years as point guard/shooting guard in basketball, one year in golf, and two years in track and field as a high jumper… Led volleyball team to conferences championships 2007-2009, and a district championship in 2007… Helped basketball team earn conference championship in 2009… Helped track team to a state championship in 2008… Served as team captains for both volleyball and basketball teams during senior year… Tied the school high jump record at 5’3”… Led the volleyball team with the 373 kills, 196 digs, and 116 blocks as a senior… Named to All-Conference team as a junior and senior… Earned All-Area and All-Region accolades as a senior… Named to the All State 3rd team as a senior… Earned the senior athlete award… A member of the honor roll… Served on student government, and as the Editor in Chief of yearbook… Member of the multicultural club… Coached youth volleyball… Involved in Habitat for Humanity, Peer Listening, and the OK Blue Leadership Committee in 2009.
Personal: Daughter of Brian Timmer and Kim and Steve Brems… Has five siblings, Paige, Katie, Matt, Jeff, and Jake… Steve played football at Grand Valley State… Sister, Paige, plays golf at University of Toledo… Father, Brian, played golf at Ferris State University… Majoring in advertising/graphic design.
