GSC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• With a 2-0 win over Spring Hill on Oct. 16, UWF secured its 11th consecutive GSC Tournament appearance.
• Fall sports at UWF traditionally have a strong presence in the GSC Tournament, as the women's soccer team recently secured its 21st consecutive tournament berth while the volleyball team is closing in on clinching its 14th straight appearance (does not include 2004 season shortened by Hurricane Ivan).
• With Christian Brothers not making the tournament for the first time in 12 years in 2016, UWF's streak of 11 GSC Tournament appearances in a row is the longest active streak in the conference.
• West Florida's nine GSC Championships and 12 GSC Tournament Final appearances is the most amongst all current and previous GSC members.
• UWF has appeared in eight of the last 10 GSC Tournament Finals.
• West Florida is the only current GSC member to have a win in the NCAA Division II Tournament, and leads all GSC teams with seven appearances.
• West Florida is 22-7-1 (.750) all-time in the GSC Tournament, and has more than three times as many wins as Christian Brothers who has the second most wins amongst active GSC teams in tournament history with seven.
• UWF is 35-19-9 all-time against the other five teams that make up the GSC Tournament field.

#250
Bill Elliott claimed his 250th career win as the men's soccer coach at UWF last Thursday, as the team took down Auburn-Montgomery 5-0.
• Elliott's 250th victory makes him the first coach of a Gulf South Conference school to reach the milestone, and he leads all other GSC coaches by at least 129 overall victories. Elliott stands in the top 20 in Division II history in winning percentage (.662 entering the season), and total wins (267), when combined with his record at Tennessee Wesleyan in the 1993 and 1994 seasons. Elliott is just the 16th coach in DII history to reach the 250-win milestone. He also ranks third in GSC history in winning percentage.

BETHELL, KUHNE NAMED ALL-GSC
• Sophomore midfielder Kameron Bethell and senior defender Allan Kuhne became the 87th and 88th players in program history to earn All-GSC honors on Monday.
• Bethell, who was recognized as an All-GSC Preseason selection prior to the season, has lived up to the expectation by registering a team-high six assists this year in addition to three goals. He started all but one game during the regular season, and his six assists finished as third most in the conference. He had one game-winning goal on the year, and his best statistical performances came against Lee and Spring Hill, where he posted back-to-back three-point games. In games which Bethell recorded at least one point, the Argonauts went 5-1-1.
• Bethell is one of just five 2016 GSC Preseason selections who went on to earn All-GSC honors, and one of just three to be named to the First Team.
• Kuhne manned a backline that allowed 1.53 goals per game, and played every minute of action in GSC play. Kuhne provided an offensive presence as well, being the team's point-person on throw-ins near the net to set up numerous goals throughout the year. Kuhne recorded his one assist of the year in the season opener against Tampa, and played a key part in five shutouts this year.

RIVERA NAMED GSC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Erick Rivera posted one of the most impressive weekends in program history, scoring five goals and tallying an assist en route to earning GSC Player of the Week Honors, becoming the second Argonaut to do so this year (Chandler Castleman)
• Rivera became UWF's first freshman since 2011 to record a hat trick when doing so against Auburn-Montgomery on Thursday. He then followed that performance with two goals and an assist against Spring Hill, and became the first Argonaut in over a decade to record back-to-back multigoal performances.
• Rivera, a Cape Coral product, posted the highest single-week point total amongst any GSC player this year. He is the first freshman since Oct. 21, 2014 to win GSC Player of the Week honors and the first GSC Player of the Week to ever score five goals in a single week.

BEAT IT
• UWF currently rides an seven-game unbeaten streak, which is currently tied for longest unbeaten streak in the South Region with No. 5 Lynn.
• The streak stands as the longest for UWF since 2010 when it posted a eight-game winning streak.
• During the streak, UWF has outscored its opponents 22-9 and has averaged 3.14 goals per game while allowing 1.29 goals per game.

10-SPOT
• UWF posted its first five-goal game since Sep. 4, 2014 (Trevecca Nazarene)against AUM, and then followed that contest with another five-goal performance against Spring Hill.
• It is the first time UWF has posted back-to-back games of five or more goals since Oct. 31, 2010 - Nov. 5, 2010 (Thomas (Ga.) and Alabama Huntsville).
• The streak of the past two games is the 28th occasion in program history where the team has posted 10 goals over the course of two games.

FRESHMEN FOCUS
• Freshmen and redshirt freshmen have played 5,237 of 15,246 minutes available this year, good for 34.3% of total minutes played -- the highest amongst any class on the team.
• West Florida leads all GSC teams with three GSC Freshman of the Week awards in 2016, split between two from GK Phil D'Amico and one for forward Isaiah Lopez. Erick Rivera, another freshman, won the final GSC Freshman of the Week award of the season and became the first GSC freshman since 2014 to win POTW.
