Tuesday's contest will start at 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday's game will begin at 3:00 p.m.
LUCKY SEVEN: Heading into the seventh inning against Alabama Huntsville down 6-1, UWF picked an optimal time to have their best single-inning since 2013 as the Argonauts scored 10 runs to take an 11-6 lead... The outburst is the most runs scored since UWF scored 11 runs against Miles in the first inning of their contest on March 7, 2013... It is the most runs in an inning against a Gulf South Conference opponent since March 25, 2012 when UWF scored 11 runs in the second inning against Christian Brothers.
COMING IN CLUTCH: Senior
Jimmy Redovian came through in clutch situations in both of UWF's wins over the weekend, as he recorded the game-tying RBIs in each win against Alabama Huntsville... In game two on Saturday, Redovian approached the plate with a bases loaded situation with UWF down 3-1 and converted on the opportunity, scoring two runs on a single through the left side... On Sunday, Redovian faced a two-out and two-strike situation with the bases loaded, recording another 2-RBI single and tying the game at 6-6... UWF would go on to score five more runs before the end of the inning to seal the victory against UAH.
PAIR OF COME-FROM-BEHIND WINS: Heading into the series against Alabama Huntsville, UWF had just one come-from-behind win, but the Argonauts were able to rally for a pair of come-from-behind wins against the No. 9-ranked Chargers... In game two on Saturday, UAH jumped out to a 3-0 lead before UWF was able to score four runs in the third and go on to win 4-3... On Sunday, UWF would face a 6-0 lead but used a 10-run seventh to record a second-straight comeback victory.
EFFICENT WEEKEND: Kyle Hamner has emerged as an offensive leader for the Argonauts, as the catcher is hitting .452 (14-for-31) during his current nine-game hitting streak... Hamner hit a team-best .545 (6-for-11) last week while recording an RBI, walking twice and scoring two runs.
BROTHERLY LOVE: Anthony Mazzurco, who is set to start Wednesday's game against the Eagles, will face his older brother's squad... Anthony's brother, A.J., is a senior outfielder for the Eagles... Unfortunately, there will be no chance of a brother-against-brother at bat, as A.J. is redshirting this season.
