PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 9-ranked University of West Florida men's tennis team swept Alabama Huntsville 9-0 at home on Saturday at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex.

The Argos used 11 players as they remained perfect at 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in Gulf South Conference play. UAH fell to 4-5 and 0-2.

Alfonso Castellano erased a 4-1 deficit and fought off three match points to come away with a 9-7 win over Noah Pring and Elliot Hopson at the No. 2 spot.

Gabriel Dias and
Warren Kuhn concluded the pairs play with their fourth straight victory this season, claiming an 8-4 win.

In singles play, UWF won all six matches in straight sets, highlighted by Dias' 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2. Senior
Alex Peyrot, ranked 37th in singles nationally, improved to 4-0 this season and clinched the match after defeating Chris Miller 6-1, 6-3.

Sebastian Sanchez started the singles matches off on the right foot with a victory of 6-0, 7-5 against Timo Christen at No. 4. Senior
Pedro Dumont defeated Sebastian Rohrbach 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3.

Douglas Boe and sophomore
Lucas Sanchez saw their first action of the year and both came away victorious. Boe secured a point with a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 5 and Sanchez scored a 6-0, 7-5 win at No. 4.

UWF will face two conference teams on the road next weekend. The Argos will face Lee on Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. in Cleveland, Tenn. and Shorter on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. in Rome, Ga.
