COMPLETE RESULTS
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The third-ranked UWF men's golf team posted a final round 8-under-par score of 280 to finish in second place at the NSU Shark Invitational, played on the Champion Course at PGA National.

The Argonauts were tied for fifth after Monday morning's very windy opening round and then play was suspended due to severe weather delays. When action resumed on Tuesday, UWF concluded the second round with a 283 to move into second place. The final two rounds were both season-lows for the Argos through their first two events.

Junior
Carlos Marrero finish fifth among the 69-player field with a 74-70-69=213 total. That was his second top five finish in as many tournaments this fall.

Senior
Harry Butler tied for seventh as he put up rounds of 77-68-71 for an even-par 216. He played the par 5s at 9-under to lead the tourney field and eagled the 488-yard sixth hole in two of the three rounds.

Junior Juan Igancio de Giacomi collected a 12th-place finish at 73-72-75=220. Sophomore
Adam Guedra played the final two rounds at even-par to finish with a 226 and tied for 23rd place. Sophomore
Cameron Bonner ended the event with a collegiate-low 69 to shoot a 231 and a tie for 41st.

Kaiser, the No. 4 ranked NAIA school in West Palm Beach, blistered the course with a 271 in the third round to win the tournament with a 860, six shots ahead of the Argos. No. 7 Georgia Southwestern was two strokes behind UWF at 868 in third, followed by No. 12 Florida Tech at 880 and top-ranked Lynn at 886.

UWF will return to action next week in Palm Harbor, Fla. when they host to Copperhead Championship at the Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course. The tournament will have 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
