ROME, GA.- The No.4 UWF Men's Tennis (5-0, 4-0) won against Shorter (2-4, 0-3) 7-0 at Walt Attaway Tennis Complex in Rome, GA.
The match against the Hawks had an early start and ended fast. The highest scored set was 6-3 otherwise the Argos held them under 2 points the whole time.
UWF made a quick sweep in doubles 6-1 across one, two, and three spots with some new doubles teams. At the No.1 spot, Vitinho Galvao and Igor Cantanhede, No.2 was Juan Cabrera and Gerardo Irarrazabal, and playing at No.3 was Pedro Cordeiro and Juan Motta.
In singles, both Cordeiro and Cantanhede has scored of 6-0, 6-0 at the five and six spots. At No.1 was Juan Cabrera who wrapped up his game 6-1, 6-1.
The team finished up the weekend going 3-0 overall. Their next match will be at home a week from today on March 3, 2019 at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex against West Alabama.
