PENSACOLA, Fla.- Looking to extend their win streak to five, the UWF men's tennis team will once again make the trip to Valdosta, Georgia, this time as they match-up with Rollins College on Friday, February 21st at 1pm.

The Argonauts are vying to win at least five out of their first six matches for the ninth season in a row which includes the 2013-2014 season where they finished undefeated.

This season, despite an early loss to top ranked NAIA power Georgia Gwinnett, the #3 ranked Argos have been fairly dominant, winning their previous four matches including their last three all against Gulf South Conference opponents.

Seniors Serdar Bojadiev and Juan Cabrera have led the way for West Florida as they have gone a combined 6-2 in singles play in the season. The two players, both ranked inside the top 30 of the ITA national rankings, have guided the team to ranked wins over Florida Southern and West Alabama.

Freshman Adam Svensson has given the team a boost with his strong play early in his first season, as he was chosen to pair with Bojadiev to make for a formidable pairing in doubles action.  For his efforts, Svensson was named GSC Men's Tennis Freshman of the week.

About Rollins: The Tars come into the match at 1-3 overall, losing their last two to Sunshine State Conference opponents, Lynn University and Embry-Riddle. Rollins, ranked fourth in their pre-season conference poll, is guided by two seniors, Luke Horan and Gai Faigin.  Faigin, a native of Israel, went 12-7 last year and reached as high as a #17 mark in the ITA doubles rankings last year while Horan has competed in each match this year in the #1 singles position.
