Dos Santos Places United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American Honors for Second Straight Year

He is only the 3rd player in program history to earn this award

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Standout forward Kainan Dos Santos will add United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American to his list of accomplishments this season as the USC announced on Dec. 1.

The junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil is the third player in program history to receive this recognition and the first player in UWF men's soccer to have earn this award for two straight years.

Only 11 players out of Division II men's soccer earn First Team honors. Dos Santos has received multiple awards this season including D2CCA Third Team All-American honors, D2CCA South-Region Player of the Year, and USC All-South Region First Team.

He averaged 12 goals, six assists, 30 points, and 63 shots on the season.

"This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention," stated by the United Soccer Coaches Association.
