Full Schedule

PENSACOLA, FLA. – The University of West Florida Softball team released its 2024 regular season schedule on Wednesday, setting the slate for the 39^th season of Argonaut softball. 
 
Head Coach Ashliegh McLean enters her sixth season with West Florida and will lead her squad in their season opener against West Georgia at the Gulf Coast Invitational on Friday, Feb. 2 at 3:00 p.m. in Gulf Shores, AL. 
 
The Argonauts will also face reigning National Champion North Georgia that Friday,  Lubbock Christian and St. Leo on Saturday, Feb. 4, and Nova Southeastern on Sunday, Feb. 5 during their weekend in Gulf Shores. 
 
West Florida will host their home opener against Florida Southern on Feb. 10-11 and then head to Valdosta State on Wednesday, Feb. 14 for a non-conference doubleheader against the Blazers. 
 
The team continues its tour of Georgia that weekend, heading to Columbus, GA from Feb. 16-17 to take on Tusculum, Columbus State, and Newberry. On their way back to Pensacola on Feb. 17, the Argos will stop in to Americus, GA for a game with Georgia Southwestern State University.
 
GSC play begins with another road trip for West Florida the following weekend, as the Argonauts head to Livingston, AL from Feb. 23-24 to take on West Alabama for their first conference series. 
 
West Florida will host its first home GSC series on Saturday, March 2 when the Alabama Huntsville Chargers visit Pensacola to take on the Argos. The following weekends include a trip to Clinton, MS to face Mississippi College (March 8-9), A home stand against Christian Brothers (March 15-16), and an away series against Delta State (March 22-23).
 
The Argonauts will enjoy a two-weekend home streak to end March as they host Shorter from March 29-30 and Union from April 5-6. They take a short drive over to Spring Hill for a midweek doubleheader against the Badgers on April 10. 
 
To cap off the season, the Argos hit the road once again for two straight away series against Montevallo (April 12-13) and Auburn-Montgomery (April 19-20). West Florida ends its regular season at home against Lee on April 17-28. 
 
The GSC Tournament is set for May 1-4 at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL. The Argonauts were last in the GSC Tournament in 2023, making their 26^th appearance. 
 
NCAA Regionals are set for Thursday, May 9-11 with Super Regionals set for the following week on May 14-15. The National Championship will be held at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Orlando, FL from May 19-25.
