PENSACOLA, Fla. – Hannah Harper was named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, after a dominant opening weekend at the plate against Nova Southeastern.
Harper hit .500 (11-for-22) across six games, driving in a team-high 10 runs while posting a .864 slugging percentage. The senior recorded four extra-base hits, including two triples and a home run, scored seven runs, and went a perfect 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts as the Argonauts opened the season 6-0.
The honor marks Harper's first career GSC Player of the Week award. She previously earned GSC Freshman of the Week recognition during the 2023 season and becomes the first Argo to claim the conference's top weekly honor since
Gianna Guerriero in April of 2025.
The Argos are back in action on Friday, February 6 where they will face Ohio Dominican in Chattanooga, Tennessee at 9:00 a.m. Central Time. Live stats will be available on GoArgos.com.
