PENSACOLA, Fla.- The No. 7 West Florida men's tennis team hosts Xavier (La.) on Saturday for senior day. The match was pushed back due to weather and will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the senior festivities after doubles.

Facundo Bermejo,
Bernardo Costa, Adam Svennson, and Enzo Bomfim Silviera.
ABOUT UWF
*UWF comes into this match ranked as the No. 7 Division II team in the nation. The Argos hold an 11-2 record and 6-0 at home record.
*West Florida has had a busy week with wins over three nationally-ranked opponents No. 45 Southern Arkansas, No. 6 Columbus State, and No. 13 Ouachita Baptist.
*The Argos have three nationally ranked singles players in the latest ITA national singles poll. Bermejo ranks No. 20 with Descarrega as No. 45 and
Mateo Martinez No. 66.
*In doubles, top-ranked Descarrega and Bermejo are No. 2 in the nation as a pair. The dynamic duo is 10-1 as the No. 1 doubles team.

Sebastian Rondon leads the Argos with ten singles wins from throughout the lineup.
SCOUTING XULA
*The Gold Rush is one of the most successful programs in the NAIA as they are ranked No. 8. Xavier (La.) holds a 13-5 and are currently on a two-match win streak.
*Jacobi Bain ranks nationally in the NAIA as No. 7 and Mathieu Strauss is No. 24. Bain and his teammate Nereo Suarez are one of the top-ranked doubles teams with a No. 3 NAIA ranking.
*Suarez won Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week on March 14 for his second consecutive week. The freshman lead singles and went undefeated with partner Bain.
*On March 21, the Gold Rush earned their 28
th consecutive home victory as a program. Xavier (La.) has not lost at the XULA Tennis Center since 2018.

*The Argos holds a perfect 7-0 series record over the Gold Rush. UWF won 6-1 over XULA with strong wins from the bottom half of the lineup.
