PENSACOLA, Fla.- The No. 8 West Florida Men's Tennis Team will be back at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex for the first time this season. The Argos will face GSC foe, West Alabama at 1 p.m.
ABOUT UWF
*UWF currently sits fifth in the Gulf South Conference rankings with a 3-1 conference record and 5-1 overall.
*Their most recent win came against No. 10 Lynn on Friday, March 3. The Argos swept the Fighting Knights 4-0.

Tomas Descarrega earned GSC Player of the Week after going 3-0 in singles from the No. 1 position. The junior from Rosario, Argentina defeated No. 20 Diego Gonzalez in the third set from Lynn. Descarrega and his partner
Facundo Bermejo are a perfect 4-0 as the No. 1 pair for the Argos.

Joaquin Estevez, and
Sebastian Rondon are all 2-0 in conference play.
UWF NO. 8 ITA RANKING
*West Florida is No. 8 in the current ITA Ranking.
*The next ranking will be released on Wednesday, March 8.
ABOUT UWA
*The Tigers are 6-2 on the season and 4-0 in conference play. UWA is currently at the top of the leader board in the GSC men's tennis standings.
*In doubles, Marcel Hornung and Lucas Hammond are a perfect 7-0 for the Tigers. Hammond and Loic Danza are both undefeated in singles play with a 5-0 record.
UWF VS. UWA HISTORY
*In their last matchup, the Argos defeated the Tigers 4-2 to advance to the GSC Tournament Championship last April.
*The Argos are 22-0 overall and 8-0 at home against UWA as this will be their 23
rd consecutive meeting on Tuesday.
