Final Results
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –  The UWF Men's Cross Country Team had a successful showing, finishing 13
th out of 31 teams in the FSU Cross Invitational on Friday morning in Tallahassee.

Division I, University of Florida, won the meet while south region foes, Embry-Riddle, Florida Southern and Tampa featured in the top five.  Ethan Geiger from the University of Florida took home individual medalist honors with a time of 24:42.1 in the Men's 8K.

For UWF, it was redshirt junior
Zach Fenton who once again led the way as he completed the meet 15
th overall out of over 340 competitors.  Fenton's mark of 25:15.9 was the sixth fastest time among all division II runners and over one minute faster than his finish in last week's Argonaut Invitational, an event that he won.

William Jetton and
Parker Nunley had strong marks as well, as Jetton featured in the top-100 with a mark of 26:20.8 to place 95
th while Nunley placed 102
nd with a mark of 26:32.1.

Freshman,
Carson King, finished just behind the pair with a time of 26:36.7 to place 108
th while
Nathan Deboutez gave the Argonauts five finishers in the top-125 with a mark of 26:47.8.

Gavin Schulte had a strong meet as well, finishing 168
th with a mark of 27:33.2, while
Jack Tyner,
Ivan De La Cruz and
Cademon Galloway all completed the race, under the 31 minute mark to round out the group of runners for UWF.

West Florida will be back in action next Saturday, October 7
th, when they will compete in the UAH Chargers Invitational, hosted by Alabama Huntsville.  The meet will begin at 8:00 AM.
