WINGATE, N.C. --- After going 1-1 over a top-25 ranked team last weekend, the Argos are placed at No. 16 in the NCBWA Top-25 poll.
 
Last week, the Argos were ranked No. 7 but dropped many spots after a series opener loss to previously ranked, No. 25 Rollins. UWF fell 7-6 by a walk-off single but came back in game two in a 4-3 victory.
 
The Argos dropped a spot in the NCBWA South Region poll. Tampa stays at the one spot with Saint Leo following as the number two team.
 
This week's ranking did not take in the Spring Hill game that happened on Tuesday (Feb. 20). The win over the Badgers will be taken into consideration for next week's poll that will be released on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
 
UWF will have their first conference series at West Alabama. The three-game series will begin on Friday, Feb. 23 at 5:00 p.m.
