WINGATE, N.C. – UWF Baseball finished ranked in all three major Division II national polls, placing the highest in the National College Baseball Writers Association poll at 10^th nationally. 
 
UWF also finished 13^th in the D2 Baseball poll and 15^th in the American Baseball Coaches Association poll. 
 
UWF recorded a 36-21 record, winning their DII south regional and advancing to the first super regional in program history. Their season ended against the eventual national champion, Tampa.
