HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --- Announced Tuesday morning by the Gulf South Conference, Dalton Neuschwander named GSC Pitcher of the Week.
 
The weekly award is the third for the Argos and Neuschwander's first this season.
 
The right handed pitcher got his second win after a 4-2 conference victory over West Alabama. He threw eight strikeouts in seven innings pitched. He allowed no runs on two hits during his outing.
 
He sits at a 2.14 ERA on the season and holds his opponents to a .171 average.
 
In Neuschwander's total four starts, he leads the pitching squad with 20 strikeouts in 21 IP.
 
The honor is Neuschwander's fourth total in his UWF career. He was named Conference Pitcher of the Year three times in 2023.
 
The 2024 Preseason-All American and the Argos will take on Columbus State in a two-game series starting today (Feb. 27) at 5:00 p.m. CT. UWF will make their way back to Jim Spooner Field on March 1 for conference contests.
