VALDOSTA, Ga. -
Cooper Tendick shot consecutive rounds of 71 to lead the UWF men's golf team on the first day of the Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club on Monday.
UWF is tied for 11th in the team standings at 296-291=587. Nova Southeastern leads the tourney at 11-under-par, 565. Shorter is in second place six shots back, followed by Lincoln Memorial and Georgia Southwestern.
Tendick is tied for 11th place at 142, 2 under-par.
Fabian Wennerlof was the second-lowest Argonaut, as he sits in 28th place at 71-74=145 while competing as an individual competitor.
T.J. Thompson and
Ethan Unverzagt each signed for scores of 73 and 74, and are tied for 40th at 147. After opening with a 78,
Per Ekelund came back with a 73 in the afternoon to move into 50th place at 151.
Jack Burbee is tied for 83rd at 155.
Tuesday's final round will begin at 9 a.m. Eastern time with a shotgun start. UWF will be paired with Tampa and Valdosta State on holes 10-12. Wennerlof will start on number 16.
