Head Coach Bill Elliott Inducted Into Chattanooga FC Hall of Fame

Coach Elliott is One of Three Honorees to be Inducted

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Head Coach Bill Elliott was recently inducted into Chattanooga FC Hall of Legends at the end of May. Chattanooga FC marked an important milestone in its 16th season celebration by inducting the first three players into the club's Hall of Legends. Thomas Clark, Bill Elliot, and Zeca Ferraz, the first three influential individuals selected by the supporter owners, were honored in a ceremony at Finley Stadium before the club's match against Atlanta United 2 on Saturday, May 25th.

The men's and women's selection committees considered over 20 potential nominees before narrowing them down to six finalists from the CFC Men's and CFC Women's teams. The club's 3,200 supporter owners had the opportunity to vote on the three inductees.

The selection committee prioritized the following criteria: impact and significance, longevity and consistency, enduring legacy, achievements and honors, integrity, and contributions beyond performance, contribution and innovation on the field, popularity and fan support, and peer recognition.

Coach Elliott's Impact 

Head Coach Bill Elliott continues to impact the Chattanooga FC club and its success greatly. Bill Elliott was the head coach of Chattanooga FC from 2012 to 2018. In 2019, he served as co-head coach alongside Peter Fuller. Elliott became the club's technical director in 2020, while Peter Fuller took over as head coach.

Elliott was the club's head coach for seven NPSL Southeast Conference Championships, three NPSL South Region Championships, and three NPSL National Finalist trophies.

In 2015, he led CFC to victory in the USASA National Amateur Championship. Elliott had an impressive career record of 97W - 28T - 34L, winning 13 trophies for the club. He was also awarded the NPSL's 2014 Alexander Arellano Memorial Trophy for leading Chattanooga to the national title game.

UWF Coach Elliott will head into his 28th season as the head coach for the men's soccer program. Coach Elliott has led the Argos to 11 GSC Titles and nine NCAA appearances. Coming off a strong 2023 season, being the reigning GSC Champions, Coach Elliott is looking for another successful as the Argos leading man.
