GSC Spring All-Academic Teams / Spring Honor Roll
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference released its 2025 Spring All-Academic Teams and Honor Roll Lists Thursday afternoon, an honor given to the student athletes who achieved major accomplishments on the field of play and in the classroom.Â

The list featured 13 student athletes across all six UWF spring sports, the second most of any school in the GSC. Two teams led the way for the Argos, with Softball and Men's Golf placing three athletes each. The Honor Roll list, comprised of student athletes with a 3.0 or better, featured 82 Argos for the spring semester.

In order to be named to the GSC All-Academic team, nominees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or better their entire academic career at their institution and may not be a freshmen or first-term transfer. The student-athlete must also be a significant contributor to the team. Other factors include leadership, community service and extracurricular activities.Â

Haley Guffey,
Gianna Guerriero, and
Hannah Harper represented Softball, while
Eddie Lee,
Cooper Tendick, and
TJ Thompson represented Men's Golf. It is the second-Straight All-Academic Team honor for Tendick, who also made the team in 2024.Â

From UWF Baseball,
Dalton Neuschwander and
Brett Rowell represent the Argos. It is the third year straight that Neuschwander has made the team for Baseball.Â

Sebastian Sotelo and
Sebastian Rondon made the list for men's tennis. It is Sotelo's second-straight All-Academic Team honor.
Carlota Verdu represented women's tennis. For women's golf,
Alia Scotka and
Millie Thompson made the list. It is Scotka's third straight All-Academic Team honor.Â
