AUSTIN, Tex. – UWF men's tennis graduate player
Sebastian Sotelo is being honored for his achievements both on and off the court, as the Argentina native has been named a CSC Second Team Academic All-American.
Sotelo is a currently earning his MBA with a Finance emphasis. He earned a 4.0 for the spring semester in addition to earning Second Team All-GSC honors. He also earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District team for UWF Tennis.
Sebastian carried a 19-3 singles record through the 2025 season. He finished with a combined 17-4 doubles record paired up with
Tomas Leston,
Albin Ekenros and
Denilso Martinez.
Academic All-American is a title reserved for college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. The all-time list of 42,000+ Academic All-Americans includes major sports stars and some of the world's most accomplished individuals in medicine, business, science and the arts.
