PENSACOLA, Fla. – The spring 2026 NCAA Division II preseason tennis rankings were released on Wednesday, Jan. 14. The poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking committee which is comprised of eight ITA Regional Chairs and a National Chair.
 
The rankings put the West Florida men's team at number four after an outstanding fall, placing them ahead of Gulf South Conference opponents Mississippi College (22) and Lee (T15), and behind Valdosta State (2). The women's team is ranked six, topping all GSC opponents.
 
Additionally, the rankings decided the seedings for the ITA Indoor Championship. The 3-seed men's team will face off against No. 6 UT Tyler on Friday, February 13, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The No. 3 women's team will play No. 6 Nova Southeastern on February 20 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
