LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UWF Softball (14-2, 3-0) has jumped higher in the national rankings for a third straight week, moving up to No. 7 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Coaches Poll released Tuesday. 
 
This is the first time the Argos have been ranked in the top 10 nationally since being ranked no. 4 at the beginning of the shortened 2020 COVID-19 season. It is also the highest UWF has been ranked since then.  
 
The Argos began GSC play this weekend by sweeping the Christian Brothers Lady Bucs. Other GSC programs in the rankings include No. 4 AUM (11-2) and No. 24 UAH, (17-3) the latter of which appears in the rankings for the first time this season. Montevallo also received votes after being ranked last week.
