PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America released its national poll on March 5 and the UWF men's golf team received the No. 1 ranking in the poll for NCAA Division II. 

The Argos received seven first place votes and 401 points in the poll. Prior to the release of the poll the team had won two straight tournaments including the Las Vegas Desert Classic and Matlock Classic. UWF moved ahead of both Lee and Grand Valley State in the rankings.
