The reigning NCAA Division II National Champions are on the path to repeat their success from last season. UWF is the No. 1 team in the South Region and will prepare to play at the Regional Championship at Valdosta Country Club on May 7 through 9.

The NCAA released the full 80-team regional field on Sunday afternoon. The Argos will face 19 other teams in the South/Southeast Regional. The top three teams and top two student-athletes from a non-advancing team will continue to the NCAA Division II National Championship at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada on May 18-22. The remaining eight teams who earn a berth to nationals are selected based on the region's prior year representation in the national championship.

The Argos are the No. 1 ranked team in the nation and are coming off another Gulf South Conference Championship.
