LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UWF Softball stayed put at No. 14 nationally in the week 12 National Fastpitch Coaches Association coaches poll after a 2-1 series victory over Valdosta State at home.
 
The Argos are now 37-10 on the season and 22-8 in GSC play. They're in second place in the GSC, with AUM, West Alabama, and West Florida all having the same record. They are behind AUM due to the head-to-head tie breaker, but are ahead of West Alabama for their victory over the Tigers.
 
GSC teams still in the poll include No. 8 AUM and No. 22 Montevallo. West Alabama received votes to be ranked. UWF will have a chance to win the regular season with a solid performance against No. 22 Montevallo on the road, combined with the result of AUM's final series of the regular season
