Men's Tennis Set to Host NCAA Division II South Regional

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of West Florida men's tennis team has earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II South Region and will host the preliminary round of the NCAA Tournament. The Argonauts will face No. 7 seed West Alabama on Monday, May 11 at 10 a.m. Central Time.

UWF earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating No. 5 seed Lee in the Gulf South Conference Championship match. This marks the first time the Argonauts have hosted a regional round in Pensacola since 2021.

In addition to West Alabama, UWF will also host No. 3 seed Rollins and No. 6 seed Florida Southern.

Monday's match will mark the second meeting between the Argonauts and Tigers this season, with UWF winning the previous matchup, 4-3, in Livingston, Alabama. Live stats will be available at GoArgos.com.
