OXFORD, Ala. — Severe Weather in central Alabama has forced a schedule change for the opening day of the 2026 Gulf South Conference tournament, the conference office announced early Wednesday.
Games three and four of day one on Wednesday will now move to day two on Thursday morning, and a rolling schedule will take effect, with each game starting 30 minutes after the previous concludes. The 1-seed Argos will face 8-seed Trevecca Nazarene 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one of the day, with that game between Montevallo and Mississippi College beginning at 9:00 AM CT.
The conference will aim to play six total games Thursday, with the Argos playing their second round game later in the evening on Thursday as well. Time will be announced based on the result of the game against Trevecca Nazarene.
Semifinals and championship rounds on Friday and Saturday as set to proceed as normal. For a full updated schedule,
