PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of West Florida baseball team had five athletes receive College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors announced by the organization on Tuesday. Blake Thomas, Zack Stokes, Trent Kelly, William Lybrook and Micky Scheetz were all recognized for their achievements on the field and in the classroom.

Stokes, Scheetz and Lybrook were all selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot. Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 23. 

The CSC Academic All-District award recognizes student-athletes who hold a 3.5 GPA or above and are starters or key contributors to their team.
