KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The United Soccer Coaches announced the Women's Scholar All-America Teams on Thursday.
Peyton Peffers a nursing major from Panama City, Fla., was named to the USC Scholar All America team due to an outstanding performance in the classroom and on the field, after posting a 3.9 GPA.
This season Peffers led the team to the NCAA South Regional Final.
Peyton Peffers was named to the GSC All Conference Second Team and All-Tournament team after excelling on the field this season. Peffers finished the season with four goals, with two of them coming in the NCAA tournament.
With the leadership of Peyton, the Argos were able to finish the season with a 14-3-3 record. Peffers was a vital part of the team's success creating opportunities for her teammates as well as defending the ball well. Peyton is the second UWF women's soccer player to be named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All America Third team.
