BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UWF women's basketball standout
Brooke Kane was named the 10-member All-Gulf South Conference teams as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Kane was selected to the Second Team in a vote by the league's 13 head coaches.
Kane currently averages 13.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and is one of just five players in the league to rank in the top 15 of each category. The forward from Derry, New Hampshire has 22 double-figure scoring games and gone for at least 20 four times. She has led the team in scoring 12 times and rebounding 10 times.
In her last game on Saturday, she surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her college career. She currently has 1,011 points which includes four seasons at New Hampshire and this year at UWF.
She becomes the 43rd GSC honoree in program history and the 16th in 12 seasons under head coach

The Argos have had at least one all-conference representative in 27 of 29 years as a GSC member.
