PENSACOLA, Fla
. – For the 14th year in program history, the University of West Florida Volleyball team is once again raising money to support the fight against breast cancer through their annual Pack-It-Pink match. Accepting funds via donations or through their silent auction, this year's event is sure to be one of the biggest and most successful fundraisers yet.

Begging in 2007, this Pack-It-Pink event holds a special place in the Pensacola community as well as all the faculty and staff at UWF after Head Coach Melissa Wolter won her battle with breast cancer in 2006 while still leading her team to their first-ever NCAA national tournament appearance.

In the 2019 Pack-It-Pink match, the last season this event was held due to Covid-19, West Florida had one of their most successful events to date raising more than $8,000 for the Florida Panhandle Breast Cancer Association.

For this year's event, the local community as well as many others stepped up to help make this Pack-It-Pink silent auction rich with great items.

Opening today online, this year's silent auction items include a diamond necklace from Bere Jewelers, USA Volleyball apparel and Picture signed by USA Volleyball Women's National Team and Karch Kiraly, as well as many other great items for all interests.

Fans are also encouraged to come out to the match this Saturday at 2 pm (CST) to not only cheer on the Argonauts but to honor and support all of those who have been affected by cancer over their lives. We thank you in advance for all of your generous support and for helping us take one step closer to finding a cure.
