PENSACOLA, Fla. – Three Argonauts earned spots on the D2CCA All-South Region Volleyball Team on Wednesday afternoon, with Gabi Moulton and Maddie Mire selected to the First Team and Kumara Flanagain earning Second Team honors.
 
"I'm really proud of Gabi, Maddie and Kumara for earning this honor," said head coach Melissa Wolter. "It is a testament to their efforts and hard work all throughout the year and a tribute to the success of the entire team."

Moulton continues her standout career with another exceptional season, securing First Team recognition for the second straight year. The star setter added to an already decorated 2025 resume that includes GSC Player of the Year, GSC Setter of the Year, All-GSC First Team, GSC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Springhill Suites All-Tournament Team, Colorado Premier Challenge All-Tournament Team, GSC All-Tournament Team, an AVCA All-South Region first team selection, posted 1,000+ assists this season, and surpassed 3,000 career assists. In 2024, she was D2CCA Player of the Year and to the First Team selection.
 
Mire made an immediate impact in her first season at West Florida after transferring from Pensacola State. She became UWF's first GSC Libero of the Year since 2021, and leading West Florida with 609 digs (5.34 per set) and a .933 reception percentage. She also earned a spot on the GSC All-Tournament Team and was named to the AVCA All-South Region First Team this season.
 
Flanagain rounds out UWF's honorees after powering one of the most efficient offenses in the region. The junior outside hitter collected a team-high 310 kills on a .277 hitting percentage and added 70 blocks on her way to earning her first D2CCA recognition. She was also named to the All-GSC First Team and the Colorado Premier Challenge All-Tournament Team.
 
UWF was the only school in the South Region to place multiple athletes on the First Team.
 
West Florida returns to action on Thursday, December 4, when the Argonauts face Palm Beach Atlantic in the opening round of the NCAA DII South Regional in Tampa, Florida. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Live stats will be available on GoArgos.com.
