DESTIN, Fla. - The No. 22 UWF women's golf team will return to action at the Emerald Coast Classic this week, playing its first tournament as a nationally ranked squad.
UWF will be among a group of nine teams ranked in the top 45 by Golfstat among the 17-team field.
The Argonauts will be paired with No. 24 Central Missouri and Truman State in Sunday's first round. The teams will start at 8:00 a.m. off No. 10 at the Baytowne Golf Club. The course will play to a par 71 and 5,881 yards.
UWF has performed well all season, posting top 10 finishes in all six events dating back to September. The Argonauts have a 303.53 season stroke average and a 302.67 in six rounds this Spring.

Kate Kenthack is 134th in the Golfstat ratings.
This will be the third year of the event which is hosted by Missouri-St. Louis. UWF finished fifth in the inaugural event in 2021, which
Ronja Taipale winning the individual title. Last year's tourney was rained out on the final day. The Argos were in tenth place after 36 holes but had climbed into fifth when lightning and heavy rain forced the stoppage of the event.
