BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Rylie Stephens was named the Gulf South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week presented by Truist after her performances from December 16-22 of the 2024-25 season.
Stephens finished the first half of the season in noteworthy-fashion averaging 17.0 points and 13.5 boards, while leading the Argonauts to a pair of wins. The graduate guard posted 18 points and 10 boards in a 71-57 win over Lee while converting eight of 15 attempts from the floor. She then logged a 16-point, 17-rebound performance in a 94-55 win over Trevecca. It was her fourth double-double of the season, which included a career-best 14 defensive boards. This is Stephens' first career GSC Player of the Week honor.
