PENSACOLA, FLA. – Kumara Flanagain earned Gulf South Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week of October 21, the league office announced Tuesday. The recognition marks her second consecutive GSC Offensive Player of the Week award.
Flanagain averaged 3.13 kills and 3.44 points over eight sets as No. 16 West Florida improved to 10-0 in GSC play. She registered 12 kills and a .276 hitting percentage in a 3-1 win over Lee and hit .387 with 13 kills on 31 swings in a four-set win over Trevecca Nazarene. Her weekly ledger also included a .333 hitting percentage and five total blocks
