GREENSBORO, NC. – UWF is up to No. 13 in the American Baseball Coaches Association Poll, the organization announced Tuesday. 
 
West Florida (36-19) earned the bump after going 3-0 in their regional, defeating No. 14 Florida Southern and earning a spot to play at No. 1 Tampa in the South Super Regional. It is the highest the Argos have been ranked in the ABCA poll since being ranked No. 20 in the preseason.
 
The Argos play the Spartans in a best of three series this weekend for a region title and a bid to move on to the DII Baseball Championship in Cary, North Carolina. Game 1 of the weekend series begins tomorrow at 12:00 CT.
