PENSACOLA, Fla. - UWF senior
Sebastian Rondon was named the Intercollegiate Tennis Assocation Division II National Player of the Year, the assocation announced on Wednesday. Rondon is now the first player in program history to earn national player of the year honors for UWF.

Rondon put together one of the top seasons in Division II tennis, playing at court one for the entirety of the year. He finished the season with a combined record of 49-5, helping lead the Argonauts to a 28-2 overall record and a run to the NCAA semifinals. Rondon was named the ITA South Region Senior Player of the Year and ITA National Senior Player of the Year, and earned All-GSC First Team honors and finished the season ranked as the No. 1 singles player in the country. He was named an All-American for the fourth time in his career by the ITA in both singles and doubles along with his doubles partner,
Diego Duran.
Rondon and Duran also earned one of the top individual doubles honors in Division II during the fall, winning the ITA Cup Doubles Championship.
