Boniface “Bazooka” Okafor brought impeccable talents to the UWF Men’s Soccer team as a memorable addition to the success of the soccer program. In his senior year in 1990, he scored 20 goals with 9 assists and a total of 49 points. He was an All-District Pick and a Senior Bowl Selection. 
 

His junior year, he scored 17 goals with 5 assists and a total of 29 points en route to an All-District 27 Honors Pick, All-Area 7 selection and an All-America Honorable Mention.
 

His success began his sophomore year, when he scored 13 goals with 3 assists and a total of 29 points.
 

He was described by his coach as being “irreplaceable, leaving a big hole to fill.”
