What was your most memorable moment in UWF athletics?
I have many memorable moments from my time in UWF athletics. One that stands out is walking off the final green at my last conference tournament, celebrating the fact that we had won the championship all four years. That was an incredible feeling—a perfect ending to a special journey. But if I had to choose the most meaningful part of it all, it would be the people. The friendships I built through UWF are what I value most. I had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people—many are still a big part of my life today. Those relationships and shared experiences are what truly made my time at UWF unforgettable.
Being a former student-athlete, how has it helped you in your life after college?
Being a former student-athlete has significantly shaped who I am today. Being part of a team taught me how to collaborate with others toward a shared goal and adapt to different personalities. Sports come with wins and losses, and learning how to bounce back from adversity has helped me handle challenges in life with a stronger mindset. Being a student-athlete made me realize the value of good work ethic. I take pride in showing up prepared and giving my best effort, whether it's for my job, my family, or a personal goal.
After graduation Olsson continued playing golf, but put competitive golf on hold after the birth of her son. Olsson has a four year old son, Axel and one year old daughter Ebba. She plans on returning to the next chapter of her golf journey in a couple of years.Â
