In Carlos Rodriguez’s two seasons with UWF men’s golf, he tallied a 72.09 average over 66 rounds, with All-America honors both years. His 71.3 average in 2012 earned him All-America First Team and a spot on the GCAA All-Nicklaus Team as one of the top 24 players across all divisions.
“My most memorable moment in UWF was being honored in the GCAA All-Nicklaus Team 2012 & GCAA All-America First Team,” said Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is the third player in history with a 73.2 stroke average.
Golf remains a big passion for Rodriguez. He is a part of the Columbian team and continues to participate in tournaments.
“Being a former student-athlete helps many things in life, gives you mindset and discipline to accomplish any goal.”
Currently, he he owns three restaurants named Nutcracker with his wife.
