Butch Bundy played on the UWF Men’s Golf team in 1996-1997. He was an All-Big Bend Selection in high school in 1992. By 1994, he was a Junior College All-American pick at Pensacola State College where he finished fourth at the Florida JUCO Tournament. At UWF, he brought a series of records to the Golf program. In 1996, he made the NAIA All-America team and recorded his best finishes at the Triton Invitational with a three-day total of 216. He posted eight top-10 finishes at UWF and managed a 75.91 scoring average in 58 competitive rounds over three years of tournament golf. In 1997, he averaged a 74.0 in four outings.
