Bronna Allison competed as a sensational tennis athlete at West Florida from 1987 to 1990. Coming to UWF from Canada, she brought both national and international recognition to the Tennis Program by her multiple achievements on the court. In 1988, she qualified for NAIA All-American Singles and Doubles and continued to qualify each year until 1990. Also in 1988, Allison claimed the NAIA Singles Champion title and also the Doubles Title with partner, Laura Cadena. In 1989, Allison competed as the All-Time Individual Singles Champion and qualified for Academic All-American again. She also won the NAIA Sportsman Award. By 1990, Allison received the NAIA Arthur Ashe Award and qualified for NAIA Academic All-American. She was also named the 1990 UWF Marketing Major of the Year. After graduating, Allison worked as the Director of Tennis at Timberlake Tennis and Country Club in Bradford, Ontario.
